back to studying in a few hrs, finally got internet in 4 days, cos no time to use and the internet connection's damn unstable, hope my own one gets online soon if not i'll b so bored. yest drove down to some chateau at St Emilion, near Bordeaux. i drove all the way and took about an hour odd, even though we were charging down at 130km/h. learnt about how they produce wine, really interesting shit they have. makes me appreciate wine more. haha, and we tried their wine, which is Grand Cru Classe, 3rd highest grade in this region. its damn nice la. only 46 chateaus are graded Grand Cru Classe, out of the 5000 plus estates here. bought 2 bottles from there. and probably gonna see if i can mail wine back. alcohol here is dirt cheap! E$0.50 for a bottle of beer, wine's going at 1-5 euros, hard liquor from 10-20 euros at supermarkets. amazingly cheap, but no time to drink also. had a walk around St Emilion after that, the scenery is damn nice la, but it was freaking freezing. weekends really pass in a flash. already another wk ahead. and so more things to study.
