ok just went for the PRK this morning, or rather afternoon at NUH Lasik Centre, took quite a while to get my surgery started, but the surgery itself was damn fast. some anasthetic on my left eye, then this huge piece of shit inserted to force my eye open, and that seriously was huge, didnt know how it could fit into my eye.. haha, after that this pick-like thing starts scrapping away at my cornea, to remove the top layer of cornea he says, then they put this round cylinder over my pupil and pour some alcohol or something over it for 20s, and my vision goes blur, after that some water to wash away the stuff, and this ring of white light comes into focus, plus a blinking green light. then after some talk yadda yadda focus on the blinking green light at all times, then it starts focusing the laser at my eye and the whole thing is like over in 5 seconds, i lost my vision after about 1 second and i could smell my cornea burning.. wow how cool is that.. haha
after that the pain set in like 15 mins after the surgery.. hurts like shit and my eye kept tearing.. now its not that bad, must b the wonders of painkillers.. haha
